Theater and Puppets
The Cold Spring Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with The Permaculture Arts Collective, is organizing a family-friendly parade to celebrate Cold Spring Aglow 2025. This festive procession will feature illuminated lanterns and puppets, beginning on the lawn of St. Mary’s and traveling to the bottom of Main Street . We anticipate that local shops along Main Street will be open and may offer snacks and treats to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
In preparation for the parade, the Permaculture Arts Collective will host community workshops to engage participants in the creation of lanterns and puppets. These workshops will take place at the Cold Spring Farmers Market, Foundry Montessori School, and other local educational institutions. Our goal is to invite residents of all ages to take part in the creative process and foster a sense of community ownership in the event.
We warmly welcome other organizations, schools, and community groups to join us in this inclusive celebration. By working together, we can create a joyful and imaginative experience that highlights the spirit of Cold Spring during the solstice season
